SIM1's Story

Welcome to SIM1 Racing.


I remember the moment I first fired up my self-built simulator back in November 2020; it was a moment of pure joy, but also the spark that eventually ignited SIM1 Racing.


Six months later, I found myself driving down the real-world pit lane at Donington Park, preparing for my first season in the fiercely competitive BRSCC Mazda MX5 SuperCup Championship. After three laps, the session was red-flagged. As I pulled back into the pits, adrenaline-fueled tears filled my eyes; I was instantly hooked! That faded childhood dream of being a racing driver was reborn. I quit my job two days later and propelled myself into both the virtual and real worlds of racing.


I swiftly created the SIM1 brand with the aim of offering simulator building services to other racing drivers. I believed that if I could demonstrate the power of simulator-based training through my own racing progression, it would convince others to use my services, and it worked. SIM1 grew alongside my real-world success; I won Rookie of the Year in my first season, secured my first pole position at Snetterton in year two, and achieved my first win at Cadwell Park in year three. It was much tougher than I ever expected, but I got there. With a lot of sim training, I was able to beat drivers with over 20 years of experience.


In March 2024, SIM1 Racing Ltd was officially formed. It was time to elevate SIM1 to new heights, redesigning the business from the ground up, including simulator designs, suppliers, website, and marketing strategies, which is what you see today.


SIM1 is unique because it benefits from my real-world knowledge of what truly matters in simulation. There are gimmicks and extortionately priced products out there that prey on the uninformed. However, my goal with SIM1 is to offer the most realistic simulation experience at the best possible value. Today's SIM1 simulators leverage in-house design and the best products from around the world, chosen after years of testing.


I built the SIM1 brand on integrity and good old-fashioned customer service. Here, you'll never speak with an AI bot or be asked to submit a ticket for technical support, nor will you be inundated with marketing emails. I prefer to offer a personal service where you can speak directly with me on the phone or message via WhatsApp for any of your queries.
